Life is short, do not make it shorter..

If you sit for long hours and have poor eating habits, coupled with low sleep and high stress levels, hypertension is a given.

Right?

Even if you do not want to see it, life nowadays is full of stress and bad habits. We all forget to take care of ourselves, we all forget our health.

When was the last time that you did something for your health? If this happened a long time ago, remember this – reports say people who do not take vacations have a 21% higher risk of death from all causes.

You should consider vacations as an enjoyable way to invest in your good health. Life is short – don’t make it shorter by avoiding vacations.

By saying vacations, we mean time for yourself. We all have goals, we all have families and kids and we all have busy schedules. Do any of these make sense if you are not well? You will not be able to take care of your family and your kids, you will be able to be good at work, you will not achieve any of your goals, right?

Vacations are the best way for yourself to rest, relax and fully recharge. Unless you are a machine, your body and your mind need breaks. When was the last time that you did not take a break for a long time and you were feeling able to cope with your daily tasks and responsibilities ?

Reward yourself. Do not forget it. Your health, both physical and mental need to be great. You need to take care of yourself.

By the way, was there any time in your life that you had a break from your daily routine and then once you came back, you were not feeling full of energy?

Long periods of work without break lead to irritability, poor decision making, poor communication and relationships and more days off due to ill health. When you go on vacation, you reverse all that and come back with greater focus, an optimistic mindset and productivity soars.

Life is short, do not make it shorter…take care of yourself.
