Hi, this is Vida Hospitality – we offer family holiday apartments in Nafplio, Greece – created and operated by Vasileios and Panagiotis Totsikas.

We always love the “about us” page on websites like this because they are written in the third person…even though they are typically written by the owner of the website.

So, after Vasileios and Panagiotis made several attempts to sound smarter than they really are by writing about themselves and Vida in the third person, they quickly abandoned that approach and decided to write this page as if it were a letter to a friend.

Which…in many times, it is.

Anyway – what do you want to know?

We are brothers – family, and we live in Nafplio. We also have a dog named Lisa.

We are guessing that is not the kind of stuff youâ€™re looking for. Youâ€™re probably wondering, is this page Worth My Time And Attention?

For many readers, our answer is NO.

Here is why:

WE ARE NOT PROVIDING A TRADITIONAL, OLD FASHION SMALL ROOM WITH JUST A BED, ONE WINDOW AND A SMALL BATHROOM

” I am looking for the fastest possible option, I do not have time to search, I am busy with my work” – we get it! That is what happened also to us in the past, being guests ourselves.

Our parents were both working that time – so there was no time to spend on searching a nice property for our vacation – they thought that it did not matter what space they were booking – it would just be a place to sleep at night.

Well, it was not like this.

As kids we often stayed in small rooms during our vacation with our parents, because they did not spend time on a research before booking…they were busy and did not have enough time…but once we arrived there, it was not what we really wanted, it was not comfortable and spacious enough for us to stay for a few days.

And then, we were disappointed, trying to fit in a 25 or 30 sq.m. room – which, by the way, with our luggage open, it looked even smaller! (then our parents were disappointed because they did not feel comfortable plus they were more disappointed, because I and my brother were also disappointed)

So, if you prefer staying at a place where you cannot even move around after you open your luggage, where your kids will see that they do not have enough space to play and they will not feel comfortable, we do not have the right place for you.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT A CLEAN, COMFORTABLE AND MODERN PLACE TO STAY DURING YOUR VACATION, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO ENJOY OUR APARTMENTS

We are not saying that we are the only best place on this planet or that we are the only clean one. But here is what we are telling you.

Start looking for vacation properties and holiday accommodations on the internet, and you will see all kinds of ads and articles about the cheapest option, how to save money during your vacation, and all kinds of “the biggest discount” for your next holidays.

Do some of them worth?

Probably. For the short term – if you are just looking to rest for a few hours. But this is not holidays, this is not family vacation with kids.

And that is a waste of money. If you really want to waste money, do something more fun!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE “CHEAPEST ONE”, WE CANNOT HELP YOU

It is important you understand what we are telling you.

We are NOT capable of it.

Why?

Because when we hear someone say, â€œ THE CHEAPEST ONE”, what we are really hearing is ” the worst one, I do not care about quality”.

The word “cheap” always refers to the product or service – to the value, not to the price – the price can be high or low, but not cheap. When you refer to a person as a cheap one, do you mean that he/she has low price? or low values? Value is what you get back!

HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US AND OUR APARTMENTS

Family apartments (75 to 100 sq.m.) with one or two bedrooms, fully furnished and equipped where you and your family could stay even for months without needing to add or buy anything else. But we are not cheap.

Can you believe that we just told you flat out that we are not cheap?Well, why wouldnâ€™t we tell you?

We made sure that everything, from our mattresses (by Simmons), our towels, our bed linen, our furniture, our design, are not cheap, they are expensive, they are the best you can find.

And also, our great hospitality services – that is free! 🙂

The idea is you will say ” These people really took care of me and my family, they tried their best to make sure we had a great hospitality experience and the apartments were amazing – great value for money”.

Pretty simple, right?

We call it our competitive advantage.

HOW DO I KNOW THAT YOUR SERVICE AND YOUR ACCOMMODATION IS ANY GOOD?

If you like them, you will probably like our properties and our services.

If you do not like them, you will not.

Our parents got involved in the hospitality industry back in 1981, by excellent serving guests at our restaurants. Since 2018, we – as brothers – decided to move to the hospitality/accommodation industry, in order to continue serving our guests with excellence. That is how we started Vida Hospitality.

Fast forward to today, we proudly served – in less than 2 years – more than 500 guests (and still counting) from many different countries (Germany, France, Spain, USA, Netherland, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Greece, United Kingdom, Japan, China).

HERE IS WHAT WE OFFER SPECIFICALLY

Our main focus is to provide you with a great accommodation option once you decide to visit Nafplio. We want you and your family to feel home away from home. We make sure you have all the comforts, like if you had the chance to carry your own home with you during your vacation.

We want you to have enough space for all your family members to feel comfortable during your holidays – your kids can play inside the apartment while you are resting – you can cook at home – you can relax all together watching a movie on Netflix, if you are not in the mood to go out – you can wash your clothes if you are on long trip away your country – you can enjoy the balcony view either over the main port/downtown of the city (Vida Guesthouse Apartments) or to Palamidi castle (Vida Residential Apartments) with a bottle of wine.
