Leaving Athens airport to Nafplio, first of all, you have to enter the high way that connects Athens airport to the West city entrance – which is Elefsina. The name of the high way is “Attiki Odos”.
After driving for 1.5Km away from the airport, take the first exit to the right. It will look like this:
Once you take right after 1.5Km you will reach the first tolls – 2.85EUR.
From that point and for almost 58Km you continue driving on the Attiki Odos high way until you reach the next tolls – which by the way is the West entrance of Athens region – Elefsina – and you will understand it because again you will have to pay tolls 🙂 – 2.10EUR.
After the Elefsina tolls you are driving on the main high way that connects Athens with Peloponnese. After driving for almost 56 Km (and having already paid the second tolls – Korinthos tolls – 1.80EUR), you reach at the point that high way separates and you will have to take left towards Kalamata to continue to the South part of Peloponnese (the right ends in Patra).

After taking the left exit, now you are on the high way to the South Peloponnese. After 17Km you will reach – Spathovouni tolls – 2.55EUR. From that point, you drive for 8Km more and then you take the Nemea exit (which is the second after you pass the last tolls station).

and then, after you take the exit, you reach here:
Here, you take left and you continue driving for 1.5Km until this point (where you have to take right):
Then you have to continue driving for almost 5Km and will reach this point (where you have to take left):

Then you continue until the end – where you will have to take right. It will look like this:
After 1Km, you will have to take left:
After 1 Km, you will have to take again left:
After this point and continuing for 2Km, you will enter Nafplio city.
Once you are approaching the city, you will reach this point (where you will have to take right to drive towards the port):
After taking right, drive for 500m more and you will reach this point (where you will have to take left):
After taking left, in 700m you will reach this point (where you will take right):
and……..in 50 meters you arrived!!!!
You just arrived to port – entrance of the old city downtown!
