Daily Trip from Nafplio to Monemvasia
The trip to Monemvasia is a nice option for a daily trip. It is not so close to Nafplio, but for those who like to drive, it deserves it.
Daily trip from Nafplio to Spetses island
Spetses is one of the most beautiful islands of the Argosaronic Gulf. It is a small island with almost zero cars. You can enjoy the amazing beaches of the island and walk to the old port which is very romantic. From Nafplio you have to drive until Kosta port. Then with small boats in less than 10 min you arrive at the main port of Spetses. The closest beach is Agia Marina beach. If you like riding, you can hire bikes or motorbikes and drive to back side of the island at the Agioi Anargiroi beach. Do not miss the chance to enjoy fresh seafood at Patralis restaurant.
Daily trip from Nafplio to Hydra island
Hydra island belongs to Argosaronic Gulf islands and it is very unique as per its beauty. Small, without cars, with an amazing downtown. You can drive from Nafplio to Metohi port and from there in 20 min with a small boat you arrive to Hydra main port. You can walk all the small pedestrians streets around the port – downtown or get the local bus to visit the beaches. Do not miss to visit the Gatto Nero Hydra restaurant!
Poros Island
Poros is one of the Islands at the Saronic. In Poros you can find different beaches, some of them with amazing green color, you can walk at the downtown and find some traditional taverns!
Mistras, Laconia
Mistras, a former municipality in Laconia, is a one of the centers of the Greek Ancient World located next to the town of Sparta and at the feet of mount Taygetos. It was the Byzantine Despotate of the Morea in the 14th and 15th centuries.
Portoheli and Ermioni
Find a suggestion for a daily trip to Porto Heli and Ermioni from Nafplio.
Both destinations are close to Nafplio (within 1hour drive approx) and are close to each other. I would recommend this daily trip from Nafplio to Porto Heli and Ermioni mainly in the summer time as both destinations are popular during the warm weather periods in Greece.

Pylos is a town located at the South-West of the Peloponnese region. Historically known as Navarino has been inhabited since Neolithic times.
Kyparissia
At the west side of the Peloponnese region, on the slopes of a hill is located a small village called Kyparissia.

Doxa Lake, Feneos
In case of you like to try a trip to the mountains, Feneos is really the best option. From Nafplio you drive to Feneos passing from Stymfalia lake. At Feneos you can enjoy the nature and walk also the round of the lake. For lunch, as you driving back from Feneos, you can stop by Stymfalia lake. There are many local restaurants serving local food that you will enjoy!
